First Lonnie Deal happening here–need quick advice.
How much sales tax do I collect from my buyer? Is it the sales tax of the county, or is there a special sales tax for mobile homes?
Also, with the HCD forms. I’ve filled out an HCD “Bill of Sale” when I bought last weekend. I assume I have my buyer fill another one out with me as seller and as lien holder at the bottom When I take both bills of sale in to HCD are they going to be totally confused by this?
Any tips/suggestions about transfering title in California would be appreciated.
