Comparable Sales - Posted by Richie, NC

Thanks for the reply.

I checked out homeradar. It doesn’t cover my county nor the five surrounding ones. That makes me think I can’t do this in my town. Just kidding. I know I can, I will just have to look harder.

The other site is similar to my GIS site for my county. I just have to click on every property and look at the tax card which shows last sale date and price. The only problem there is that my county government usually takes 6 months to update records. Clicking on each property is a little cumbersome but it does get the job done.

Besides a realtor, what other ways do you creative investors find comparable sales in a particular neighborhood?

Has anyone used a relationship with an appraiser?

Thanks in advance!

Richie NC,

Have you tried some of the online comp sites? If not they may be helpful to you.
