My wife and I formed a Hawaii LLC to purchase a 2 bed condo on the big island (Kohala/Waikoloa) early this year - completing refi within a couple of weeks. What is the market like in Maui for long term lease condos vs. vacation condos? Are you involved with a broker, and does your agency manage properties? What are the mgmt percentage differences on Maui between vacation and long term lease?

I’ve seen numerous postings on this site with folks looking for creative RE Agents.
I live in Maui, HI.
I am an investor first & RE Agent second. I only became an RE Agent so I could represent myself in creative dealings and avoid closed-minded, traditional-type agents who would not work as my advocate. (I’m sure some of you have run into what I’m describing.)
