Although I here frivilous complaints all day about credit issues, a serious malfunction has occurred on MY CREDIT REPORT…that is not frivilous whatsoever. Point is
I rely entirely on my credit to flip homes. Someone is abusing my credit via my name, social, and address. I just
happen to be borrowing over 300k in home loans at the moment
and this bogus activity is throwing me into subprime!!!

Who should I be talking to in specific? Exp, TU, Equifax?
If I request a lock on inquiry…how do I continue to apply
for revolving and mortgage credit myself? What would you do?

When you contact the CRAs, have them place a fraud alert in your file. It will alert the potential lenders to check ID much closer.

Hi Brandon,

The only people who can request information to be removed from your credit report is the creditor. You should start with who is reporting all the information that will eliminate the frustration that you may experience dealing with the reporting companies. The reporting companies will want you to provide proof that stuff is not yours, by calling the creditor they will provide that proof so they will have the information removed.

Sincerely,

Bruce Lawson
