Credit Report Sources - Posted by Jeff

I used Fidelity with reasonable satisfaction. It is tri-merge with scores.

For each bureau, Fidelity will list all accounts reported, but when it adds up the total outstanding debt on the individual, it will add the same credit card 3 times to the total.

For example, if you have a VISA with a balance of $2500, and it is on all 3 credit reporting bureaus, the Fidelity report shows a total of $7500 debt against the individual. You’ve got to read between the lines.

Fidelity explained to me that their software couldn’t screen it properly. But, for $10.50, what the heck!

Does anybody know of an online service that provides instant credit reports combining all three major bureaus including FICO scores but doesn’t require you to hold an RE license or anything of the sort?

Yes, Fidelity National Credit Services. Gives you all 3 scores for $10.50 for an individual and I forget how much it costs for joint…I’m thinking $15 or so. Anyhow, I charge $25 and $40 for people that fill out apps.

go to www.fncs.com or call 800-860-9488, ask for Beth Bell.

hope this helps,

Qspace.com now offers instant report and FICO scores.

You can have your clients go to the site and pull their own score. Costs only $15.
