Frankie,
Pertaining to what?
CYA means to me, “Cover your assetts”, but this needs to be done in all of our dealings in RE.
As well as many other parts of life.

A little context, and perhaps an answer will be forthcoming,
Jim IL

Cover Your ASSets (Not Call Your Attourney).
In general terms, its a disclosure you have the other party sign to show that you’ve given them all the facts. For example, if you’re buying subject to, the letter will explain that the seller’s name stays on the mortgage and he assumes certain risks. That way, if it ever gets to court, you can say “See, he signed this, he knew what he was getting into.”
