What are the important points to touch upon when mailing a letter to a distress homeowner in pre-foreclosure. I’ve heard of a 7 seris letter. Any sample letters would be appreciated.
Are these paid foreclosure website’s worth investing time in?

You can get an updated list at your county cleark (Lis Pendence). I signed up with foreclosureworld.net. They ‘say’ they are updated weekly. Whenever I check their website it usually has the same 25-30 people for about 4 weeks. I go to the county clerk after 3 weeks and get over 125 or so. Don’t waste your money, hit the county clerk. Besides, the county clerk gets all the info first.

I send them postcards, first and if they respond I follow up with a letter. If I think the people are interested, and don’t call me back (but I know they are motivated) I send them an UNSIGNED check for $1,000.00 and tell them I wills sign it once they sell me the house. It hasn’t worked yet, but I do get the calls. And be sure you use a CLOSED bank account!
