Bailey was his lawyer. He unsuccessfully tried to keep McCorkle out of the federal pen.

Anyone heard anything further about McCorkle since he went to prison? Is he filing appeals? How’s he handling prison life? What became of his business and assets? Just curious.

I am in Orlando. McCorkle’s hometown. I haven’t heard much about him since his conviction.

I do know that his business office was shut down and never reopened. I also know that the 30 or so properties that he owned around Orlando including his home was seized by the federal government under the RICO Act.
