Hi. I have become the executor of my family´s estate. The estate involves one property that was a Mom and Pop bar on the first floor and a 3 bedroom apartment above the bar. The property was owned free and clear. I would like to get financing for renovation. Can I get financing if I live and work outside the U.S?
Plan is to renovate and sell. Thank you for your input.

I’m sorry to say that there is no black or white answer. I would need to know more about you, and the deal, and the estate. The reason I need to know about the estate is because you would have to pull this asset out of the estate in order to borrow against it.
