I bought a old M.H. on land with a brick house built around it. It is in good shape and want to keep it for a long term rental. It is a 4 bedroom and I Paid 33k for it and will rent out for $900 a month section 8. The M.H. section was built in 1958 which is normal around here, but it has no boxes for the outlets or light fixtures. They are just wired to the outlets and stuck in the wall. I know this is common for the old ones. Do you ever put in boxes because of the chance of fire are just leave them. This has never bothered me before, but now I’m starting to think about it. Maybe I’m just worrying for nothing. I would have to put in 18 boxes. What do you guys do or think?
