Many states have bond money for first time buyers. Typically it helps through either subsidizing the down payment, or buys down the interest rate. I’d call several lenders in your area. and ask them if they are handling any first time buyer programs.

Im a prospective first time buyer and Im looking for information on grants and bonds that might be available to me. I currently live in Ann Arbor Michigan and am willing to relocate as long as I am relatively close to a Home Depot(my place of work). If any one has information on how I might find sources for grants and bonds in my area please include that also.
