I offered $180K on $210K house which was rejected then about 5 weeks later I met the proud new owner of the house who bought it for $178K.

What’s been everyone’s experience in dealing with FNMA owned properties? Will they come off the list price? If so, how much could I expect? Are they difficult to work with? Would you recommend avoiding FNMA altogether?
