Can anyone recommend some links to good legal forms for notes (secured by anything) and mortgages. Also, am I correct in assuming that that’s all there is to creating a note? I just fill in the blanks in the appropriate form and both parties sign… or is there more to it? Is having a lawyer neccessary? Does it need to be notarized or anything like that? Do I need to record it even if it is not secured by real estate? Thanks for the help.
