Call any stock broker to assist you. All can handle this for you but shop for prices as it will vary widely. Most online brokers also have offices around the country, it may be cheaper if you use one you have delt with before. Your bank may be able to do this as well depending on where you bank.

Hello all,

I have inherited a small amount of stock, and am hoping to sell it and put the money into more real-estate (my preferred investment). Question: all I have is a ‘stock certificate’, and I have no idea how to sell it. I’m sure this is a very basic and simple issue, but I’ve just never dealt with this before (I buy all my stocks online). Can someone offer some input?
