Ken,

A Lease-Option is just a Lease and Purchase Agreement. Or a Lease and an Option To Buy Agreement. I’m from Brisbane originally and have often wondered how I would do this business if I ever went back.

The whole thing is just an Agreement. I’d get a local Lease and a local Purchase Agreement from a realtor or something, rewrite it with Option language, spend a couple of hundred getting a solicitor to smooth it out, and then go out and use the freaking thing.

Ken, the deals are more related to solving problems people have. The technicalities of contracts come after that.

I am keen to get started with my first L/O and need to
get familiar with how L/O’s work in Australia.
I also need to find out how well accepted the standard
L/O forms are here in Australia.
Can anyone help with this inquiry please?
Any suggestions, comments or referrals to others who
might be able to help would be greatly appreciated.
