Greetings Everyone,

I am in the process of developing a program that
will allow investors, buyers, and agents to search
for homes from multiple websites.

You will be able to do this from one site or via your
PC. For example, you will be able to query homes off
realtor.com and many other sites that provide listings.

This will be like a search engine of homes.

Type what you want, where, zip code, etc… and you will
be pointed to homes that match your interest.

Is there anything that you want to see in this script? Features, functionality, simplicity, etc…

Are there sites that you would like us to search?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

PSek

That would be a good idea. Especially if you pull together FSBO and possible foreclosure data to one place. While, property listed by realators could also be included, there are several avenues currently available to acess that data (Relator.com or an agent). I would imagine you would want a unique product that stands out from the other real estate search enginges, and the FSBO and REO markets may provide you with that niche.
The other thing to consider is the search functions. It should have the ability to discriminate based on area, # of bedrooms/baths, a minimum and maximum price range, type of property(SFH, duplex, etc), etc.

Just my 2 cents. Let me know when you have it up and running.

Is this possible? there are search engines that can search other engines … but there’s nothing like this.

Just remember that most sites get their data from the same MLS systems so don’t waste time getting info with same listings.

If you search just realtor.com and maybe four or five major FSBO sites, then offer the data in one place…I think you’ll do rather well

That’s an idea we haven’t thought of due to
data owned by the MLS systems.

unless of course the agents volunteered info.

LOL

I’d like to see all of the homes in one place whether realtor.com or not. Rob is right tho about FSBOS, REOs, and let me add homes pending foreclosures.

NOt sure how you will make your money but if you can this off good luck.
