i dont think that it would be a problem.

i recently purchased a home that is pier and beam. it is like 90 years old and has hardwood flooring.

my problem is, that the kitchen needs new floor and we are putting in tile…hope that it is ok.

i thinking of putting hardwoods on a home with just pier and beam foundation. right now it just has plywood under the carpet. my question is has anyone done this, because the plywood flexes when you put pressure on it, and i wouldent want the hardwoods to crack or shift.
