I am moving for the winter and am looking for a good market to invest in long and short. I have been thinking Florida, anyone care to give suggestions or thoughts?

Rich,
Being in Florida now, perhaps I can share with you what I am seeing.
Since I’ve only been here a few short months, obviously my perspective is not total.
But, over the last weeks, things have been “Squirly.”
Buyers seem to be harder to come by…maybe its just me?
Sellers are calling me a lot more.

So, what type of investing are you looking to do?
What are your resources?

I see right now the chance to BUY a lot of houses, and just need to factor in for longer holding times.

Then again, our country has NEVER gone thru something like this before, so who really knows what this will do to the long term?

Just my latest observations,
Jim FL

Rich ! I would look into Hawai. The tourist industry is dead right now, it means Hawai is suffering plenty. Climate is better then Florida, and there are less old folgies running around, waiting for the last bus… For real estate investments; the next 6-12 months will give plenty of opportunities for a Sharp Cookie !
