Becoming self-employed recently, I need another year to establish income before I can find a mortgage lender. The seller would consider leasing the property for a year/w an option to buy, but neither of us wants to pay the 6% realtor commission now. Can that be delayed a year till closing? or how else can that work?
Any ideas or other creative finance techniques that would make everyone happy would be much appreciated?
