  1. What is your credit score?

  2. How is your credit besides the BK? Have you established new credit since filing the Bk or did you have any credit lines at the time of the BK that you did not include in the Ch. 13?

  3. Why is a BK unlikely to happen again- do you have stable employment?

  4. What state are you in?

  5. Is the double-wide considered real estate- do you hold title to the ground and unit as one or just the unit?

  6. Are there other comparible properties (double wides) within a few miles of your home?

Depending on the answers to these questions, FHA may be an option.

Hello Jason, Have you considered a private money investor? Can you prove that the home is permanent?

That’s tough. The lenders who will do the double wide are going to have issues with BK Seasoning.

Is this a purchase or a refinance?
