Katrina,
You didn’t say what state you are located in, but you might try a local insurance agency. I have had very good results with them in my area. They offer fire, liability and vandalism at much lower rates than the Nationally companies.

I currently own a four-plex & a duplex & am required to have dwelling fire policies on both. I feel like I am being jerked around by my current insurer (Century National). Any suggestions on a better insurance company? Are Law & Ordinance Coverage & Guaranteed Replacement worth it? Any other rental insuring tips?

law& ordinance coverage is good if there is a chance that it deals with an issue with your property ie.,house in historic district too close to street to rebuild law& ordinance coverage in effect, replacement coverage on dwelling is always good check with several companies for rate and see if 500 or 1000 deductible saves enough to make worthwhile don’t forget always have owners & landlords liability coverage as well as an umbrella policy do not try to save pennies and lose dollars
