Hi folks,
I have good credit (years of on-time payments) but have high debt due to my business. I would right now only have a very small amount of cash available for a down payment.
I would like to start investing in real estate – perhaps buying a nice multi-unit for owner occupancy to start. Do you have suggestions what loan programs and/or what type of financing I should be looking for? I have good income – about $185,000 for 2000 and about $80,000 for 1999.
I tried looking into a conventional mortgage this fall but the down payments needed were a bit stifling for now.
Thanks in advance for your input.
