Hi Cecilia,

My primary business is software, and I treat R.E. as a “chess match” that I play on the side. Thus, the time required to sucessfully learn and execute L/O’s, subject to’s, and the like hasn’t existed. But what I HAVE done is take tons of what I have learned from the crew around here to assemble a profitable portfolio of income properties. It’s a slower road, to be sure, but one that compliments my other entrepreneural endeavors. Keep working at it, though - it CAN be done!

I have been trying to find information about REI clubs here in Boston. Someone suggested I check the REI club links on the main site. I have not had much luck with the information posted there. So I will try again.

Hello all, I would like to know if anyone here is from Boston and attends a investment club within Boston. I am very interested in joining a club. Any help well be very much appreciated.

I’m a newbie in the Boston area. I’m trying to jump into this crazy market but I’m not sure how to approach it. Have you been able to use creative REI in Boston such as L/O, Subject2, Quick Flips, etc.

I’m pretty sure that can be done but I don’t know what technique works best in this area. I would love to learn as much as I could about REI, but right now I’m a little short of cash and unable to buy every single book out there. For now I would like to concentrate on those techniques that I can apply here. Any tips?

I’m located in Swampscott (next to Lynn). I am trying to find properties in pre-foreclosure or at auctions to do a quick flip because I have little cash/credit. I have also located some abandoned properties in the area to flip to a rehab investor. Do you know of any investor clubs that meet in the area?
