Once you’ve signed the BK petition, unless it’s a highly unusual case, with LOTS of assets & BIG debts, you won’t be again interrogated as to what you own or owe.

Therefore it’s very unlikely that you’ll ever have to state again anything about your assets, or anything about your income.

I would advise, until you’re discharged, NOT having any RE in your name & simply keeping your arrangement with your friendly investor a private deal.

I’m in Chapter 13. Is there a way I can keep investing without having to ask the Trustee for permission to make each deal. I’m not trying to skirt paying the trustee or my creditors. I’m trying to avoid the lag time in asking permission to make deals. (Any money used to purchase property or close deals would be from an investor friend. I would be acting as the agent and getting paid a portion of profit for salary.) Since the investor is out of state, I would need to do all the “work”.

Thanks for any ideas.
