What part of the DFW area are you familiar with? I live southeast of Dallas in Henderson County. All of the homes I’m finding need to be moved. I don’t want to move a MH since I’m just starting out. However I have found a few decent homes and I nice park with several vacant lots. Do you have any idea what movers are charging in this area? I’ve heard from $500 up to $1,500. Are there any tricks to setting up one of these homes once they’ve been moved?

I just ordered “Deals on Wheels” book and I read almost all posts here. I wanted to know if anybody has any experience in Dallas area with MH business. Seems to me that MH is less risky then buying a home and then trying to rent as CS suggests. Any feedback appreciated.
