Yup! Don’t sign it, and my own experience is that having another person,be it agent or lawyer, negotiate for me gives me a little better leverage in making a deal.

But once you DO so agree, don’t expect that you’ll to be able to come in later and modify it for the better.

It’s too late then!

My Husband and I recently mediated a case regarding a small property due to the Sellers breach of contract…“they were keeping our pymnts and property has fallen into Default” He must surrender title and carry the loan for 12 months as agreed on original contract.We the Buyers are paying all their arrearages, pnltys, ect… but thier attorney added to the contract that if our payments are 1 day late after the 7th of the month the seller can reclaim the property and we lose all our money again. Is there any way around this just in case of any unforseen circumstance may occur and we are late by 1 day?
