I’m VERY interested in getting involved with buying and keeping and/or flipping judgments. I’ve done a little research on the net regarding the field of judgments and there aren’t many websites setup for the purpose of buying judgments from individuals. It seems that collection agencies are working the field the most. And there’s no advertising for judgments in the local major newspaper in the real estate section. It’s been said that it’s “virgin territory” with “very little competition.” An area where the notes can be bought for “pennies on the dollar.”

  1. Is there a lack of activity (i.e., marketing) in this field because it’s just a rotten field or because it’s a new niche?
  2. How true are the claims that are being made?
  3. Are judgments a worthwhile niche?
  4. And are judgments covered in any of your courses?
    Thanks!!!

Just make sure that laws in your state allow you a course of action to collect on those judgements. If your state does not allow for you to garnish wages or bank accounts, it can be very difficult to collect on these judgements.
