Thanks Robert for your reply. I read it defers the sales tax until the option is exercised allowing the buyer to pay a larger down payment. That sounded good to me

I use a different aproach, in Ohio we use BMV Titles to show onership. I sell the home and hold the title (give owners a Memo Copy) and am listed as Lien Holder right on the title. Just like their buying a car. This removes me from being the owner, and I like that. Why do you want to use a lease option?
