Land contracts are not recorded. You keep the deed and everything. However, if the lender does find out that might trigger a due on sale clause, which would call your loan. Any tranfer of equitable title will more often than not triiger the DOS. Hope this helps.

Help If I give someone a land contract, will my bank call in my loan? L/C probably will be recorded at the court house. Any advise or books anyone can suggest on land contracts? Thanks, Prudy
