I sure would like a copy of your article. We are buying a condo with conventional financing for my daughter at college and I can use all the help I can get. I bought a book called How to Buy and Manage Rental Properties by Irene and Mike Millin. I’m hoping that helps.
Do you have experiences to share, either great or terrible, about becoming a landlord for the first time? I’m a writer for a national business magazine, doing an article of advice for people who are getting into the rental market. You can e-mail me directly at haida5000@aol.com. Thanks!

Big security deposit first, apartment tenant screening 2nd, 3rd work history. Feel comfortable with these things then give it a shot. Being a Landlord can be easy, as long as you have the info up front. Don’t wait to find it they hard way. Then it becomes hard really quick.
