Well, if the buyer has completely paid off the home, you should probably give them the title.

We received the very last check of our first mobile home deal today. We now have a satisfied promissary note and sales contract. Do we provide the owner with anything else to confirm the final sale? The owner wants to sell the home back to us, but her current price is too high for us to consider. We are hoping she will become more motivated as her moving date approaches. With that in mind is there anything special we should do?

Stamp the Note or Contract “PAID IN FULL” and give the “original” to the payor (keep a copy for your records).
CONGRATULATIONS!
Now do another one. If the terms that the seller wants are not acceptable, negotiate! Remember you only do this to make a profit or you don’t do it!
