I did a few MH deals in one place. Then I moved to a place that is 3-hours away. One of my buyers was recently evicted by the MHP and the PM has arranged another buyer for that MH.

Since I no longer live near there, how can I close this deal? The buyer won’t send the money without a signed title, and I won’t send the signed title without the money.

BTW, I do not have any friends there to help me close this deal.

Also, the PM is new, I’ve never worked or even seen her before. Though she sounds “trustworthy,” I wouldn’t want her to close this deal for me.

I could drive back and close it in person. Is this the only option?

I’d personally bite the bullet this time and make the trip, especially if it’s a cash deal. But if it’s a financing arrangement, I’d also take John’s advice and while you’re there arrange for someone to handle the deal in the event you have to take it back later. That drive will get old in a hurry.
