It appears that the area is slightly depressed and buyers are not plentiful. The areas job situtation may not have changed since I was last there. Be aware that a property may spend along time on the market before it sells.

Hi, REI newbie in Huntington Wv. I’m looking for any other people doing REI around my area. I do not see any sign bandits or anything remotely advertising any services related to REI. Am I in an untouched market? Should I just start my advertising campaign and see what happens. I would prefer doing rehabs exit strategy being straight sell or rent to own. Houses are really cheap.

Anybody know anyone around here?

Not a whole lot going on in Huntington aside from the University. I would suspect that your best best would be to find rentals around the campus that have strong cash flow.

Your right about that Patrick, however, I think there are still some deals to be had around here. Lots of foreclosures for the size of the town.
