Making offers - Posted by John, FL.

All offers should be in writing. There is a common law statute of frauds that requires all real estate contracts to be in writing to be enforceable.

As far as getting forms, I use the local Realtors contracts and attach my own addendum. In Florida, that is the FAR/BAR or the FAR contract.

If you want some free forms look at:

I am a new REI and Iam calling realtors and brokers asking for flexible sellers.
Iam giving flyers away amd I am out there. Could anybody advise me , if or I should present offers to realtors by writing, and where can I get some samples how to do it, or where could I see some formats.
I want to present myself professional on the matter.
Working to buy my first property.
Thanks guys

Use Letter of Intent. - Posted by Jim H

Write a Letter of Intent to purchase. Offer a price with terms “to be agreed upon.” Although this is not a contract, it is a good starting point. If there is any interest on the sellers part a formal contract could then be written up.
