Does anyone know if you need a motor vehicle dealers license to buy and sell mobile homes in California?

Is anyone using Scruggs methods in Northern California? I could use some pointers.

the department of H.C.D. (Housing and Community Development, mobile homes.) They are the branch of the State government here in CA which handles Mobile Home stuff. You will want a dealer Packet from them, which explains everything about become a dealer in CA.
HCD does have a web address and you can download forms and such at:
http://housing.hcd.CA.gov/codes/rt.htm
