We are selling our business, RV Park in Illinois, and moving back to North/South Carolina. After reading the info on CRE, many thanks for a wonderful website, regarding MH parks for a couple of months we have decided to become involved in purchasing a MH park, primarily pad only renters.
Our dilemma is do we purchase a smaller park or two and do some of the “Lonnie Deals” or purchase a larger park which would use up a large portion of our available cash. According to two brokers we have talked with we have enough cash to purchase, with financing, up to approximately 1.8 MIL in value.
We are interested in the “primarily pad only” venture due to being somewhat burned out with the late night service involved in RV Park ownership.
We would appreciate any input from the “experts” who have contributed so much in making the CRE site such an informative one.
