First get the title put in your name, don’t just leave the name line blank from your seller and put your buyer 's name in your place. This could get you into trouble. In Ohio the amount you pay is listed on the title, this means you will not want to let your buyer see your title. Have them sign a power of attorney to allow you to sign for them, they need never see your title. Collect the sales tax from them to pay when you get their title and let them know you will handle all the paper work. If you are doing the financing you will need a securtiy agreement that will allow you to secure a lien aagainst the title. If you want to discuss the details of this (for Ohio at least) you can call me at 937-484-5803
