I get my mobile home insurance from Scotty Scott - you can reach him at 352-344-3300. He is with Prudential. He can also write with citizens. He is great to work with and I highly recommend him.

I recently purchased a repossessed MH to put on a lot to resell. Unfortunately, here in Florida I can’t find anyone to write insurance due to the age…1989. Citizen’s Property Insurance is the State’s provider of last resort…however, I can’t find anyone willing to write it. Any ideas on how to find an agent in Florida to write it?

Foremost should write this unit for you BUT they are a last resort IMO, if you can find a local company or co-op (Farm bureau is great if you have them) they are likely to be cheaper for the same coverage. Let your fingers do the walking… if not Southern way’s number is 800-577-2617
