Not to me. I have a single wide on top of a septic tank and another that has a large deck on top of it.

A little more work to get the lid off, but no big deal.

Septic tank under MH violates current codes, but that’s how it was when I bought it and I haven’t had any problems so far.

I’m not sure where you are from so I’m hoping that this is not some code requirement for your area.

Hi all, my old 1969 mobile home is smack over the septic tank. I heard that there is a certain lid I have to get and they only sell them in
Georgia. I was told they are about 300.00 and have a different kind of opening so the hose can get inside.
