If the MH is not already on a lot in the MHP, don’t forget the moving cost, which could cost you an extra thousand or two.

There is one concern about this, Most mobile home parks will not except a mobile home older than 10years old. Some will but want to see the condition of it first. I am considering purchasing a 1980 72 x 14, I gave a offer of 2500 dollars and it was excepted, However I dont have 2,500 dollars, my budget is very limited. I will have this after the first of next year “tax return”. I am sure that the guy will still have this home. I am thinking about fixing up outside of the home, and take pictures to see if a mobile home park will except it, before purchasing it. Providing the dealer will allow this. The only risk I would put into this is 500 to 600 dollars for expenses into fixing it up.
