Yes you are correct. Mobile homes are an excellent way to break into the real estate investing business.
You can purchase a mobile for very little money out of pocket, then offer owner financing to your buyer and enjoy your profit. There is next to no risk involved.
If you do decide to go the mobile home route, do not proceed without Lonnies two books which you can order from this site.

I am a newbie myself and also ready to buy my first mobile home. It’s a little scary, being the first deal and all, but hopefully everything will turn out okay. Did your post say you were from Michigan? If so, what part. I am from the Detroit area. Let me know… mkruege1@visteonet.com
