The place to start is with a VIN - get it from Greenpoint or the PM or whatever - all you need to do is verify that there is arecord of the place - then it will all fall into place - just ask questions: how do I; where do I; when do I . . .

I have read posts here before about mobiles with no titles, but I need an answer fast. I probably won’t end up buying this 3/1 as he has no title. The man says he paid cash in front of the PM, but has no title to show for it. He says that Greenpoint gave him a runaround after he purchased it, and they never sent the title. He has been unable to find the VIN, and I was wondering if anyone has ever encountered this situation before, and what can I do if anything. Like I said, this situation will probably prohibit my purchase, but it would be a great deal for me. I will check with the PM tomorrow, but other than that and contacting Greenpoint, what can I do?
