Thanks guys—kinda thot I’d get that response…dump it.
I made a mistake in my posting that the t/b are putting $15K NOT $15 down as option money—bit of difference there!
They are also willing to pay $300-500 more tahn the mortgage payment. The 75% loan by the seller is interest only for 3 yrs so that we can improve the place.
OK with that said—let’s see a show of hands—horror stories or what have you.

As I understand it when I meet with the owner and oil pump guy there is a contract that covers me completely—of course I’d have to take that to my attorney.

Nothing is more irritating that people who ask for advice, then blythly ignore it and ask for more.

This is not a deal for a newbie. Or rather it is, because from what you’ve described, only a newbie would do it. You don’t even know what to ask in terms of the liabilities here. For your own good, move on.
