There are many posts in the archives which fully answer this question. My advice would be not to run this type of ad. My add states that I buy houses and does not mention mobile homes but I still get calls on mobile home calls every week.

Hi all,
I’ve been remodeling homes this year and with the large cash outlays required, I am now looking into the MH business. So I’ve read DOW and followed this column for weeks. Ran an ad this sunday saying I buy, sell and finance used mobile homes. Have just received two calls
from dealers saying I can’t do this without a license.
I told them I was looking for a young married couple,
my neice, so this was a personal transaction.
I was also considering buying several others as investments. They say no-can-do without a license.
Question to Marc Donovan and any other Florida
investors in MH…am I going to have to get a license???
