What do you mean by the “Wrong properties”? I guess I should ask, why do you think of them as wrong?
Any property could be an opportunity to make money. The determining factor is not the property, but the motivation of the seller.
It has been said many times here on line that you should stop looking for properties and start looking for motivated sellers.

I’ve been looking through the local papers here in Texas and seem to be running into a problem of finding the wrong properties. I would like to hear from anyone any suggestions you may have on the right kind of properties I should target for the right deal. I am new to this business and have no other means of learning the business through books or any thing else. I see the potential in this kind of business through each and everyones post and followups, also success stories. I will accept anyones response and thankyou for your time.
