Hi Brenda, I would first ask the adjacent neighbors if they know how to reach the owner, 'because you’d like to renovate the homes and make them look great again, and you pay a referral fee of $xxx to them if you get in touch and buy it".
Second step is: you can go down to your local courthouse and ask them to help you find out the owner name and mailing address in the county records, but sometimes this contact info is wrong and the neighbors are your best bet.
You can also leave a note taped to the door of the property if the owner happens to drop by.
