NEEDED: Spanish translation of CA Equity Agreement - Posted by Fred K.B. (SoCal)

There is required language in CA equity purchase agreements that when not present, expose the investor to all sorts of nasty penalties, both civil and criminal, and you suggest he simply type the language into some translator engine on a website that will spit out “the gist” of the text? And you would then use that?

I suspect Fred would be better off picking up a blank contract from a local agent who has ready access to the printed Spanish version.

You might call up First Tuesday in Riverside County. I know they have the English language form. Maybe they also have the Spanish language.

Failing that, I suggest that you hire a bilingual person to do the translation for you. I recommend that it be somebody familiar with real estate matters and real estate language, such as a real estate agent.
