Hi, I’m starting to get into wholesaling and have a couple questions before setting up my first deal.

My spouse and I will be in this business. Do we set up an LLC or S-Corp? Also, I would assume we should set up this entity BEFORE we do our first deal? Or, is this not important if you are just getting started?

Also, I’m looking to connect with other wholesalers in the MA/RI area. Has anyone attended the monthly meetings in Warwick, RI for the Southeastern New England REI club? I was thinking of joining that group for support.

My husband and I just did business in our personal names for the first two years. Then we met with an attorney an CPA to set up entities.
