If you could get an REO contact at the bank you may want to express mail your offer directly to them. You may get a more formal answer that way.

I would like to make an offer on a property owned by Chase Mortgage. I have called them several times to submit the offer. However, each time no one seems to know anything about the house and I am instructed to wait until it is listed with a realtor.
Has any one had any luck submitting an offer directly to a bank, especially Chase? Is there a better way to contact them, other than calling the REO department?
