Out Of Local Area Deals? - Posted by EmersonD

Haven’t done out tof the area, although I’ve been an absentee landlord in a past life and didn’t like it at all. I’d say concentrate on your own area. Since knowing the value of the property is step #1, how the heck are you going to get that info. long distance. I suppose it’s possible, but not likely that most people are “plugged in enough” to a far away market to know what is going on. Stay at home.

I have several leads on flip deals in Maryland and I live in New York. I was wondering if someone could point me to an article that could explain how I could handle this the right way.(ie. offers, negotiating, contracts, showings etc,)

Or if someone has had experience with this kind of deal (ie. long distance) please help. I don’t have the time to fly out there.

Thanks In Advance,
Emerson D

Drop me a line with the property info (location, terms, cost, etc…).

I’ve got some buyers waiting on some Maryland properties.

Could possibly move them fast if the numbers are right.

I’m in Maryland. Contact me by e-mail and maybe we can get something beneficial working.
